A Case Report of Polyneuritis followed by Emetine administration

Abstract
|
|
|
|
The author reported one case of polyneuritis following Emetine HCI injection which was used for medical treatment. The patient was 40 year old man. Surgical intervention was performed under diagnosis of solitary amoebic liver abscess. Simultaneously 4% Emetine HCI 1ml daily was used. Ten Days later(total dosage of Emetine 0.4g)polyneuritis symptoms were appeared, and 3 weeks later the patient recovered.
